Mar. 26th, 2012 08:16 pmI was expecting my first Korra fic to be that Korra/Bolin/suits fic, or possibly that Korra-gives-the-best-hugs one. Instead it is . . . this. Oh well. I am sensing there will be many Korra fics in my future!

Dec. 3rd, 2011 09:31 pmLeaving house in less than twelve hours to go take JLPT. I had a minor freakout just now about totally not knowing enough words (which I probably don't, for L3; should maybe have started with L4) and being terrible at hearing people talk & parsing it at the same time---
But then I found out the Legend of Korra opening got leaked, and I watched it, and ALMOST DIED. Like, I ran around the house hugging people and leaning on doorways and had a giant coughing fit from trying to talk and laugh and wave my arms around all at once.
From my tumblr post: if I am this excited over an opening sequence I don’t even want to think about what it’s going to be like when the show airs
like, if I watch it on the computer I will probably watch like two seconds and then have to pause it and go away lest I die of too much awesome
except WHAT IF I MISS SOMETHING BY TAKING MY EYES OFF THE SCREEN WHILE IT’S PAUSED
WHAT THEN
So now all my nerves are gone, and I think I can totally write all my final papers in two days and bake cookies as well and start writing all those fics and bits of meta I've been wanting to write. Enthusiasm in one thing = sudden competence in everything?
