But, sorry! Squee is totally appropriate for this chapter!

Date: 2010-10-01 05:20 pm (UTC)(Yeah, that A/N was kind of argh all around, though I can see why she might compare Koizilla to a nuclear weapon -- destroyed lots and lots of people with very little warning, spiritually poisoned the area with their ghosts (at least in Embers-verse), that kind of thing.)

Date: 2010-10-01 05:52 pm (UTC)And, yes, I can see the general point when it comes to WMD!Koizilla - it's just the specifics of the Hiroshima comparison are extremely problematic. And while I love the Embers-verse idea of angry ghosts being A Big Problem, I think she was talking about canon!Koizilla, which ... just not nearly as objectionable as she wants it to be, I think. Not that it isn't problematic, of course, oh Avatar and your blissful TV-Y7 glossing-over of massive casualties and collateral damage!
