I have finally started watching Psych! It's a good show, but man . . . I don't understand how Shawn manages to convince anyone that he's psychic. I am choosing to believe that the police chief is pretty sure he's not actually psychic, and she just doesn't care so long as he keeps being right.

Shawn and Gus are adorable, though! They have one of my favorite dynamics, in which Ridiculous Talented Dude would absolutely die without his less-talented-in-their-field-of-interest companion. Like, seriously, if Gus wasn't around to shut him down when he needs it somebody would definitely have stabbed Shawn by now just to make him shut up.

Also, I hope that a giant subgenre of Psych fic is Shawn-becomes-actually-psychic-and-everyone-laughs-at-him fic. Because reasons.

I have one more episode of Leverage left. *quiet sobbing*

I miss Leverage :< On one hand, I'm happy they cut it off before the stories started to get boring and repetitive. On the other hand, I miss all of them huhuhu

YES. ;_; I mean, I know that sixth seasons of shows usually suck, but on the other hand -- there's a lot of stories I wanted the show to get to that we never got, like an episode with Hardison's Nana or more about Eliot's family or Sophie's past. And for me, the fifth season is the best season -- in most of the others there's a few episodes that don't quite click for me, but S5 is like *episode that proves Parker and Eliot and Hardison can work together as a team without Nate* *episode that makes me actually like both Nate and his old IYS buddy* *episode about the dangers of capitalism, the importance of unionization, and with just a touch of background for Eliot* and it makes me happy and sad at the same time because those kind of episodes are everything that's good about this show, and the earlier seasons didn't always have enough of them, so it feels like it's finally settled down into its perfect niche, four seasons in. AND SURPRISE NOW IT'S OVER HAHAHA.

I think S05 was the best because everyone finally settled into their roles with one another. Like, they've gone through a LOT of stuff together, and they're all much more comfortable with one another and they're more like a family now, than just a team.

I heard that it's continuing as a novel series, and I'm not so sure how I feel about that.
