I like Taki BECAUSE SHE IS PERFECT AND AMAZING. ♥ A super-powerful ayakashi forced her into a totally rigged game—and not the kind you can power through with shounen badass, either—and she was all alone all that time, and even down to the last days she was trying to win. And she loves cute things! I LOVE CUTE THINGS TOO, TAKI. LET'S BE FRIENDS.

I really like the concealing hooded jacket she was wearing in her first appearance, though I don't remember if she still wears it now. It was very much a "hi look at me I am mysterious and wonderful" kind of outfit.

I want her to have a lovely happily-ever-after with her friends. Wait, did she ever meet Natori? I kind of want her to meet Natori, b/c he'll try to charm her and she will have no reaction (because Natori is not very cute).

I hope she never gets eaten by spirits or is forced to move away or anything like that. I think being cursed into silence or isolation again would be worst for her, though, b/c she would try not to worry Natsume and Tanuma too much and it would break my heart.

& for the second -- something girl-centered in Natsume, like something w/Taki & Sasada & maybe some of the female youkai (or another high school student that's an OC, or a OC teenaged girl youkai)? Not femslashy, just... girls! Hanging out! Being friends! Being the stars of the story for once in this canon, ha...

(Though I guess the Sasada bit would stymie you as she is phased out of the manga pretty quick...)

Haruhi is just so thoroughly unimpressed by all these rich people. You got a mansion for your birthday? That's great. Don't we have class now? (Also, the way ze just doesn't care if people think ze's a girl or a boy. Girls' uniform, boys' uniform, long hair, short hair, dresses, jeans, it's all good.)

"Can't say that I fully appreciate the perceived differences between the sexes anyway." ♥ Although really it's a tie between that and every variation on "Those rich bastards..."

All of them! As mentioned above, the thing I love most about Haruhi's outfits is their variety. But I do really like zir plain sundresses and that suit from the first Christmas party.

You might think it'd be Haruhi/Host Club (because I don't want them to ever be separated, and I think I've said as much before) but it's actually Haruhi/girls!

I want Haruhi to continue not caring what people think of zir gender, for the rest of zir life. And I really, really want Kyouya and Tamaki to give up going "you're a girl, you should/shouldn't do/act like X." IIRC they did get better as the series went on, but I still don't think they really got it.

I haven't finished Ouran yet, but the number one thing I don't want to happen is Haruhi being forced into some kind of binary gender thing, like becoming 'a rich man's wife' or something. Because that would be total bullshit.

YES! One of the reasons I have a ton of fun writing zir. And one of the reasons why Haruhi in Nerima is AMAZING. (Most of them aren't rich, but they are odd--although Haruhi vs. the Kunos will be FUN).

I admit to kind of wanting a series of crossovers that involve Haruhi meeting ALL the overdramatic privileged people ever. ALL OF THEM. :D


Why, why, why is there basically no fic addressing Kyouya and Tamaki's problematic tendencies? I want to see someone telling them to their face that they are sometimes horrible people. Someone who is not Haruhi, b/c ze already has to deal with them all the time. Like... their moms, maybe. Or Kyouya's sister.

ME, TOO! (Haruhi has met Ryoga before.) I also want the story where the Host Club takes zir to Nevada and ze meets the Soul Eater crew. There are awesome ladies, genderqueer people and rich bastards for zir to play with! And how many fucks would ze give that some of them are gods? Exactly NONE! Haaaaaaaruhi!
