Also, Zuko is kind of a bitch to write. I think I'm doing it wrong; Zuko focuses on things. The one time he didn't really have anything to focus on for a long period of time, he got fed up and ran away. And here I am with the premise of 'Zuko settles down in Ba Sing Se and also hangs out with this pair of Dai Li,' which is not really a very good premise. Unless I make him meet them right when he and Iroh get to the city or when Jet's still hanging around.

Anyone got a good timeline of events in Ba Sing Se? At this point, I'll settle for just knowing what order things happen in. I can't even remember if Jet gets arrested before or after Iroh gets the Jasmine Dragon. *facepalm*

Thank you! Hmm, I always got the impression Jet followed them around for quite a while before he called them out. How long were they in Ba Sing Se? Two or three months, maybe?

Yeah, I think the Ba Sing Se arc lasts for a while in canon time. It's certainly implied that Jet does follow them around for at least a little while before he loses patience and calls them out, but in the grand scheme of the arc, I recall that happening fairly early on. (She says, having watched the series once and having a shaky grasp on the whole thing.)

Have you tried the ATLA wiki? It might have a clearer breakdown of things.
