I have eaten a cupcake with a fork. MY LIFE IS COMPLETE.

And I have stubbed my toe. This is not news, as it happens every day, but the fact that I said "Ow ow ow ow ow ow FUCK" afterwards certainly is. :D

*sigh* I fail at this whole 'writing' thing. There are so many things I want to write, and only one I'm trying (and failing, I think) to. I have to keep catching myself, or I write in nothing but diologue. ARGH WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME. I CANNOT EVEN TYPE CORRECTLY.

My lovely Itachi/Kisame genfic project has been put on hold for the moment, sorry to say. I have become completely re-obsessed with Harry Potter. Or, to be more accurate, Draco Malfoy and his 'I am a total prick but I am so much better than you no-one cares'-ness. (And the minor characters. Gotta love those occasionally-mentioned-but-never-really-utilised-in-canon minor characters. Does Blaise Zabini count, do you think? Probably not, but I love him to bits anyway.)

I'm really enjoying After-the-End-style fics lately -- well, enjoying them a little bit more than before, which is difficult BECAUSE I LOVE THEM SO MUCH ALREADY. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THEY'RE MAKING ME GO CAPSLOCKY AGAIN. Fics that answer the question 'war's over, now what?'

I admit, I want all the characters I like to have some kind of happy ending. (This is why I always feel bad about killing them off, unless I'm writing/reading about them in another fic already. ^^;; ) And since I like, oh, EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER EVER, especially in the HP-verse, this is yet another reason to be glad I read fanfiction.

And now I am rambling, so I shall sleep. :D

I'm having a Harry/Draco comeback too (not that I ever really stopped reading fics ^^;;), many new writers are writing for the pairing and old ones are taking it up again as well, which makes for a very happy fangirl! ^^ I like after-the-epilogue fics too (that somehow redeem that Draco has a receeding hairline!) But mostly, I love 8-year fics. Draco thinking he owes Harry a life debt or Harry trying to befriend Malfoy because afterall he couldn't kill Dumbledore and pretended not to recognize them in the Manor scene... that sort of thing ♥

H/D was probably my first-ever ship. :D And now I'm remembering why I love it. It's not for the rivals-in-love thing, it's not for the generally awesome sex, it's because their character dynamics are so utterly fantastic. (Hell, I don't even care about the romance most of the time, I just want to see them interacting in interesting ways.)
