esmenetConfession: I always avoid Male Main Character/Any Female Character At All fics in fandoms where the main character is a dude, because I'm not willing to take the risk of her character arc & accomplishments being overshadowed by his. (Female character/male secondary character is usually okay. Main dude/other dude can have its own problems, but those are different. I'm just really, really tired of Hero Gets The Girl, okay.)
Incidentally, if you are going to be trapped at an airport for long periods of time, do not make it Chicago Midway. It is potentially the most boring major airport on earth. Do try and make it PDX. PDX is very nice, and i would much rather be there right now.
