& oh yeah, definitely writing changes my thoughts on the source. But so does just having lots of discussion about the source -- I rarely get to discuss big fannish loves w/multiple people in depth, & the manga read/anime watch in the Natsume comm has been awesome for making me think more about canon & get more ideas for fic. ♥
