esmenetIn-flight wi-fi: a very nice thing. I will have Internet for a little longer! Enough to download more fic, at least.
Listening to something rather than reading it really does give you a different perspective on the text! Maybe it's just the kind of manga I've been reading lately, but I only just realized how gay gay gay Monstrous Regiment is. Tonker/Lofty is canon, y'all, or at least Maladict thinks so. And somehow I didn't know until now that Maladict/Polly is apparently the Princely Bifauxnen/Heroine ship of my heart. They even have the whole "cool, collected, superior"/"annoyed by effortless superiority" shoujo manga thing going on.
So basically YAY FOR GENDERQUEER LESBIANS AND THE SHOUJO-Y THINGS THEY'RE IN. \o/
