I kind of hate artificial light -- which is a bit weird for someone who spends all her time on the computer -- but I feel that there's something important about the light that seeps through the clouds on a rainy day. Or even a day with no rain.

It gives a certain sort of feeling that is far stronger than it can be on a sunny day, or a brightly-lit room. I am always loathe to turn on a lamp until I can't see at all.
