Day 1 - Pride. Seven great things about yourself.

1. I can play the violin! Not awesomely, but better than okay. I can't perform -- having people watching me messes up my music-sense -- but for myself, I can play the first movement of Mozart's Concerto in A Major like a badass.

2. I'm not violent when I'm angry anymore. This is a big thing for me, because I used to throw things and hit people all the time. I sometimes get frustrated with myself for letting my anger make me a sobbing mess, but that's a good sight better than what I used to be like. For my family, at least.

3. I can cook! In the past year or so, I've gone from following recipes for things I've had before to being able to pick out a bunch of ingredients and make them into food. It's great!

4. I don't say biting things. Sure, put-downs sound cool in your head, but when you say them you just make things worse. I've never done it much, and now I don't do it at all. It's frustrating, but icy politeness can be just as satisfying and far more successful.

5. The reason I'm often so slow at writing is because I want to get things right. Every word. And sometimes I even do.

6. I can keep my great big internet mouth shut. I can read a conversation without saying anything. You might be surprised what a great thing that is sometimes. (Or maybe you already know.)

7. I can break down what people say down into little bits -- that is to say, I can summarize. I can argue. Given time and energy, I can tease out from a statement anything that bothers me.

Day 4 - Sloth. Seven things you neglect to do.
Day 5 - Greed. Seven worldly material desires.
Day 6 - Gluttony. Seven guilty pleasures.
