Mar. 3rd, 2014 07:20 pmSo, I'm twenty now.
...I feel like I should say something about how the fetishization of youth in our culture makes me feel, as someone who is no longer a teenager and is wondering why everyone wants to write only about teenagers, but I already talked about that a while ago.
Instead, I will talk about how I just remembered I was writing a Gokusen/Utena crossover, and how I should totally get back on that because it is HILARIOUS. Lately I've been a bit off, writing-wise, but I'm hoping to remedy that as soon as I get my Utena DVDs back. I've been spending so much time worrying about how I'm not writing and how I don't have any new fandoms to write in and how my lack of writing is hurting me in the long run that I forgot that writing is fun. Writing is so fun, you guys! Writing law students who fake-attend a high school where they keep getting mistaken for middle schoolers and are actually helping their old math teacher uncover the interim chairman's creepy and inappropriate relationships with the students is EVEN MORE FUN.
I keep reading about all this Super Serious Literature stuff and I forget how awesome hijinks-filled wacky crossovers are. Let's all write wacky crossovers together in the coming year, okay? Who's with me here?
